    répondre: The container provides a well-ventilated dark box with front opening and perforations that have the ideal number of holes for air circulation.

    répondre: It can hold up to 4 pounds of potatoes depending on their size.

    répondre: Depends on size of the potatoes but I had a 5 pound bag of Russets in with no problem.

    répondre: Yes, they stack nicely. I have two stacked, one with potatoes and one with onions.
  • question: Does the front opening stay well close when your potatoes are in it or does it open all the time?

    répondre: No, I am not happy w/the product and I’ve bought 2 of these. First of all, the lock never closed and locked properly and one of the front open lock is broken within a month of use. I will not recommend it.

    répondre: I have no idea because we have a pest control company come every 3 months. However, based on the design, bugs can get in easily.

    répondre: Maybe 5 lbs out of a bag, tight fit.

    répondre: Junky.

    répondre: You have to open it from the side. The top does not open independently from the side.

    répondre: I truly cannot answer that question but I love mine. Bought to put into our travel trailer when traveling and enjoyed the convenience so much I moved them into the house when we are not traveling. Buy them you won't regret it.
  • question: Are the vent holes small enough to keep mice out?

    répondre: Yes they are. The door should snap closed enough to keep them out. This is not big, holds almost 5 lbs potatoes.
  • question: Could this be turned on its backside so it opens from the top?

    répondre: Yes, but the top is like a lid as well so you have to be sure it's snapped on. This is quite small, not much thicker than a shoebox and not as long. It is also slightly angled sid.
