Who is the creator of the Zumba fitness program?

Beto Perez is the creator of the Zumba fitness program and he takes you step by step through the essential moves to get you dancing into shape in the first 30-minute instructional beginner exercise class.

What kind of workout does this DVD offer?

This DVD offers a full-body workout for beginners that includes cardio, core, abs, and muscle work as you dance to the fun music.

What is the mission of Zumba?

Zumba aims to move all people to unleash their power, embracing themselves and others, so they can achieve positive transformation.

Are the work-out sections done to a complete song or is he just teaching one move with short music and then goes to teach another move?

He's teaching one move with short music and then goes on to teach another move. At the end of the DVD, there is a complete song utilizing all of the steps that were learned.

Is the instructors voice of poor quality or might it have been a bad DVD?

Mine DVD sounds good. It may have been a bad DVD

How many minutes is each section of the dvd?

So far I'm still working on Section 1. It's approximately 25 to 30 minutes. If you need a more precise answer, I'll time it the next time I do it.

How much space is required?

Not much space required and it's a lot of fun!

Is a certain system needed to play this dvd?

I plugged it into my DVD player and it played on my tv screen. I don't believe I have any special player. My player is at least 5 years old and maybe older.

Are the workouts fast paced?

Moderate. He basically walks you through the routine and that's the whole work out. You don't go through a long fast paced dance but of course you move at your own pace. The first time trying the video it got my heart rate up but then once I was ready to get moving even more the video ended.. like I said teaching you the routine is the work out! If you want more activity dancing invest in another video

How long is the workout?

There are 2 routines. The first one is the step by step tutorial and runs about 20-25 minutes. The 2nd routine is a full 30 minutes that includes a warmup and cool down.

You do not need a riser for this dvd.

ZUMBA Fitness Planners Editorial Review

**Editorial Review** The product in focus has proven to be a surprisingly enjoyable and effective workout option for many users, particularly those who have previously felt hesitant about dance-based cardio. Targeted towards individuals easing back into exercise, whether due to age or physical limitations, this DVD offers a low-impact alternative that is both accessible and engaging. The workout is divided into two segments: the Step-by-Step section and the Dance, Dance, Dance main workout. The Step-by-Step segment is particularly praised for its thorough breakdown of moves, making it easier for those with less experience or coordination to follow along. The enthusiastic demeanor of lead instructor Beto Perez, coupled with his clear instructions and cues, ensures that participants of all skill levels can engage without feeling overwhelmed. Various options are provided for those who may be more comfortable with different pacing, reducing the intimidation often associated with dance workouts. Users have appreciated the ability to customize their intensity, ensuring that the workout can be both fun and effective without resulting in excessive fatigue or frustration. The lack of a "Dread Factor" makes this DVD stand out as a preferable exercise choice for those looking to maintain or regain fitness while enjoying the process. Moreover, many participants have noted significant calorie burn during the workouts, which adds to the overall satisfaction of the experience. The feedback indicates that even individuals with limited dance experience or physical limitations can find rhythm and enjoy themselves during the process. As demonstrated by several reviewers, the fun aspect of the workout can make it feel less like a chore and more like an enjoyable activity worth looking forward to. **
