Jack Of All Games Games P2SEGA 710425276200 Editorial Review
MLB 2K5 - PlayStation 2 offers a blend of solid fundamentals and decent graphics, although numerous reviews point out shortcomings in gameplay realism, particularly with features like the 'slam zone' and exaggerated fielding. Players appreciate the pitching mechanics and the pressure gauge, but many express disappointment regarding the lack of real player rosters and authentic batting stances. The game, released on March 2, 2005, also has been criticized for malfunctioning issues such as scratched discs upon arrival. Despite these problems, some players regard it as a notable entry in the sports genre, wishing for improvements in future versions.
