Judaism Editorial Review
The "Hebrew: A Language Course Primer Reprint 2016 Edition" seems to be a comprehensive primer for adults who are new to learning Hebrew. It covers the basics of the Hebrew language, including letters, script, and vocabulary words. The book is illustrated with cartoons and has a preface detailing the history of the Hebrew language. However, some customers find the heavy emphasis on script writing to be overwhelming, especially for beginners who are still learning the alphabet. One reviewer mentioned that there is not a complete alef-bet listing in the book, which could make learning the language more challenging. On the other hand, some customers appreciate that the book is challenging without being overwhelming. It is suitable for individuals who have already grasped the basics of Hebrew, such as knowing the alef-bet and vowel points. The workbook helps in building words, sounding them out, and understanding vocabulary in context. Overall, the "Hebrew: A Language Course Primer Reprint 2016 Edition" is praised for its clear presentation of new words and concepts, making it a valuable resource for serious Hebrew students. However, it may not be the best option for complete beginners without any prior knowledge of the language. **
