Answer: You need to read it. This device connects to the tape player. You can see what is on the tape on the small screen and you press record and it copies to the SD card. You can then put that data anywhere you like. I copy from VHS recorder and camcorder to this and then transfer to my PC and then edit the clip. Hope this helps. -

Can I use this device to record from Sky, Virgin Media, etc. set-top boxes?
Answer: It works with my BT Humax digital box. -

Answer: Video could not be loaded. -

Answer: Yes, your camera does need to be working as you set the camcorder to play and the Digitnow box records the output. -

Answer: The outputs include mini USB and HDMI, but the input are only through the connectors you do not have - so not for you it would seem. -

Is it normal for the main unit to have something loose inside?
Answer: Sounds faulty to me. No rattles or looseness with mine. -

Can I view the copy on a tablet using an OTG?
Answer: I was only able to move VHS onto the device. Could not transfer to DVD. Took a different route... purchased a pre-owned DVD/VHS combination on Gumtree and that works every time. Wasted a lot of time and money on gizmos and apps that did not achieve desired results. -
Question:
I have sync issues between sound and picture, what's the solution?
Answer: I had the same problem, just run the file through Microsoft Movie Maker. This worked for me. -
Question:
Some of my videos saved on the SD card are out of sync. How can I resolve this?
Answer: Yes, you'll have to buy a faster card as throughput is affected at lower speed.
