Rated: NR Format: DVD Documentary Editorial Review
In the Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey series, the show does not attempt to discredit religion but instead attempts to make a connection between religion and science. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a great narrator, and the show features good CGI effects and explores many fascinating topics. However, the show's dialogue is amateurish, and some viewers feel that there is too much Christian bashing. Additionally, it jumps from one topic to another without maintaining a Consistent flow. The video quality is excellent, and the show's scientific content is still informative, although it is slightly outdated. Overall, the series is recommended for Star Trekkies and hopeful astronauts.
