Jeep Wrangler is a series of compact and mid-size four-wheel drive off-road SUVs produced by American automaker Jeep since 1986. The Wrangler is a direct descendant of the World War II Jeep through the Willys civilian Jeep (CJ) of the 1950s, later produced by Kaiser-Jeep and by American Motors (AMC). The Wrangler is known for its unique design, off-road capabilities, and open-air driving experience.
